Pints for Nonprofit Event at Mad River Brewery in Blue Lake, CA on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 hosted by OneForest to support Rainforest Conservation and Environmental Education in the Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica featuring Jam Band PEACH PURPLE, 50/50 Raffle, and PRIZES. OneForest receives $1 for ever pint sold ALL DAY. Music starts at 6:00 PM. Must be present to win 50/50 Raffle and Prizes.

Thanks for all of those who participated in O.F.F.’s first photo contest. We had fun with it and can see there is a lot of artistic talent in this area. We appreciate everyone that helped us get the word out there, and for the O.F.F. members that participated in judging the competition. It was not easy to decide, but we are proud to announce the winners below. Each winner will receive a free calendar by mail.

Calendars feature “gardening by the moon” inserts with all moon phases marked and recommended crops that grow well in Humboldt County. They are now on sale for $15 each. Get one for you and your family and friends by emailing us, donating to the GoFundMe, on Etsy, or look for them at local vendors throughout Humboldt County. All proceeds go toward environmental education leadership training programs for local students.

The nature in Humboldt County inspires most of us. Submit a photo that inspires you featuring plants and nature in and around Humboldt. Photos will be used to make 2017 fundraising calendars to support Humboldt County students to attend an environmental education leadership training program (we are accepting school applications, check out Costa Rica tours and send us an email to learn more).

One photo submission per person to info@oneforestfoundation.com by October 1, 2016

Open to the general public, but preference to HSU and other Humboldt county students and faculty. 12 winners will receive a free calendar.
